Jennene and Michael both come from a culinary background professionally and for personal enjoyment. They spent their early years together crafting stunning and opulent graze boards and meals to share together and with family over wine. This love of food became the backbone of what Picnic represents, farm fresh, artisanal ingredients artfully displayed to be lovingly consumed. 

Picnic was born in the beginning of the 2020 pandemic when Jennene recognized the need for beautifully crafted food as small social gatherings could no longer be fully catered due to the growing restrictions. Graze boxes and boards filled that niche nicely and allowed us not only to be creative using our culinary skills but also to work with other local vendors and small businesses within our community to curate a product that would ease the stress of entertaining and hosting. 

Our company name is a reflection of the enjoyment of our product as our customers appreciated this style of eating so much during the times when holding outdoor social gatherings made people feel the most comfortable.
